Dental impressions and placement of fixed permanent prostheses are performed by a prosthetics specialist.
The All On Four treatment is used to replace the entire dentition in the upper or lower jaw with an implant-supported prosthesis.
This advanced implant technique involves placing four dental implants: two in the front and two angled at 45º in the back. These four implants serve as anchors for placing a removable resin prosthesis or a fixed complete prosthesis.
With All On Four implants, patients can receive fixed prostheses in the upper and/or lower jaw and avoid uncomfortable removable prostheses.
Our specialists have worked on thousands of cases, all of which are very different. At the Marta Vallés clinic, we adapt to each patient.
Using a panoramic X-ray and a dental CT scan, we check the patient's bone availability. The treatment proposal is tailored to the patient's needs and expectations.
We plan one appointment to place the implants in the upper jaw and another for the lower jaw. At the patient's request, implants for both jaws can be placed at the same time. If a tooth or root needs to be removed, this is done in conjunction with implant placement. The surgery is performed in the dental chair under local anesthesia or conscious sedation.
One to two weeks after the surgery, we place a temporary prosthesis for the patient to wear while the implants integrate with the bone.
Approximately four months after the surgery, the final fixed prosthesis is placed. During the dental impression, the patient can choose the shade of white that best suits their complexion.
After the final prosthesis is placed, we recommend an annual check-up to ensure the proper maintenance of the dental prosthesis.
