The All On Six treatment is used to restore the entire upper or lower dental arch with an implant-supported prosthesis.
With the All On Six technique, six dental implants are placed: three in the front (inner part of the mouth) and three in the back. These six implants serve as a stable base for securing a fixed prosthesis.
The All On Six treatment is ideal for patients who need additional support to securely attach a fixed prosthesis due to their jawbone structure. Patients with limited bone mass and older individuals are suitable candidates for All On Six, as this technique provides the highest likelihood of success.

1 Evaluation and Treatment Proposal

Using a panoramic X-ray and sometimes a dental CT scan, we assess the patient's bone availability. The treatment proposal is tailored to the patient's needs and expectations.

2 Surgery

We usually plan one session to place the implants in the upper jaw and another for the lower jaw. At the patient's request, implants for both jaws can be placed at the same time. If a tooth or root needs to be removed, this is done in conjunction with implant placement. The surgery is performed in the dental chair under local anesthesia or conscious sedation. If necessary, the procedure can also be done in the operating room under general anesthesia.

3 Temporary Prosthesis

The patient can choose to receive a fixed temporary prosthesis on the same day (teeth in a day) or use a removable temporary prosthesis while the implants integrate with the bone. For teeth in a day, sufficient bone density is required to ensure the success of the treatment.

4 Permanent Fixed Prosthesis

Approximately four months after surgery, the permanent fixed prosthesis is placed. During the dental impression, the patient can choose the shade of white that best suits their aesthetics.

5 Regular Check-ups

After the permanent prosthesis is placed, we recommend an annual check-up to ensure the prosthesis is properly maintained.
