We work with high-quality dental crowns that resemble natural teeth and are made from durable and modern materials.
Tooth loss is one of the most serious oral problems one can face. Besides the aesthetic impact, it also poses a serious barrier to oral health. Losing a tooth can occur for various reasons, such as severe infections or trauma to the mouth.
We are experts in osseointegrated dental implants and work with the most innovative brands in the industry. When a tooth is lost, the functionality of the mouth is also compromised, which severely affects chewing.
Another issue related to tooth loss is bone resorption. Teeth have their roots anchored in the alveolar bone. When a tooth is lost, and there is a bacterial infection in the gums, it is common for the bone to start resorbing. This can lead to complications for adjacent teeth.
To prevent resorption of the alveolar bone from leading to further issues in the mouth, it is crucial to seek a quality solution. Osseointegrated dental implants are an excellent option, provided they are placed by an experienced medical team.
Our specialists have worked on thousands of cases, all of which are very different. At the Marta Vallés clinic, we adapt to each patient.
At our oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic in Torrevieja, we handle each case personally, which gives us excellent results:
We start with an initial assessment of the case. For this, we conduct a series of imaging tests of the patient's mouth, such as panoramic X-rays (orthopantomography) or dental CT scans (CBCT), which create 3D images of teeth, soft tissue, bone, and nerves. With these images, we can evaluate the condition of the smile and assess various treatment options with dental implants.
Based on the assessment from the implantologist and the patient’s expectations, a treatment plan with osseointegrated dental implants is proposed.
The surgical procedure is performed in a customized and sterile environment within the Dental and Maxillofacial Unit at Quirónsalud Hospital. We can use local anesthesia or conscious sedation, depending on the patient's request. If it is necessary to extract a tooth beforehand, it can, in some cases, be done during the same operation to place the implant where the removed tooth was located.
Normally, we place the dental crowns once the entire osseointegration process is complete. This usually occurs between 3 and 4 months after the implant placement. At our dental clinic, we can offer crowns in various materials, but we recommend zirconium crowns as they are very natural and add quality to the smile.
We recommend visiting the dental clinic annually after treatment to check the condition of the osseointegrated implants and ensure their maintenance.
